Scenario

A guest wants to change the temperature in their room using the wall switch

Given

The guest clicks the switch the correct amount of times
When

The lights illuminate 
Then

The temperature should increase or decrease in the following increments:

Scenario

A guest wants to change the temperature in their room using the app thermostat

Given

The guest selects the desired temperature between 19° - 25°
When

The desired temperature level is shown
Then

The temperature displayed on the screen should state the actual set point but the LEDs on the keypad will not 100% correspond

The guest selects the temperature and the room's temperature changes to the desired level
The guest selects the temperature and the room's temperature does not change to the desired level 
The app setpoint temperature matches that of the wall switch
The app set point levels are different from the wall switch
When the guest increases use of the wall switch from 20 with 1 press it will actually go straight to 22° and immediately show 3 LEDS
When the user presses increase or decrease the is no visual feedback that it worked (because 20° to 21° use the same number of LEDS)
Completed When

Both the app and the wall-mounted set points work in sync to increase or decrease room temperature to the agreed increments depending on the selection of the guest.
Start When

When a purchase order has been issued to the client.

Once approved the process will continue as

  • Schedule of the project will be agreed within 7 days of ‘Start When',
  • Development of the feature once mocks up have been approved.
  • Q/A and delivery 7 days after the development cycle
